OPERATIONS

Authorized Signer · WAH / Remote Work

Own the timeline from signed contract to interconnection. Coordinate crews, permits, inspections, and utility handoff on residential or small-commercial projects.

  • Act as an authorized signer or nominee for U.S.-registered LLCs
  • Execute formation documents and related paperwork
  • Assist with opening and managing U.S. business bank accounts
  • Coordinate with banks, registered agents, and Company representatives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S. laws and banking requirements
  • Support onboarding and operational setup as required

Is this T4 or T4A?

Installer and Project Coordinator roles are T4 (employee, source deductions handled by the employer). Sales Consultant roles vary by employer — some are T4 with base plus commission, others are T4A (self-employed contractor) with commission-only or draw-and-commission structures. The written role brief will say clearly which one applies.

Do I need solar experience?

Not always. Sales Consultant openings often take strong candidates from door-to-door, home services, telecom, insurance, or automotive sales. Installer roles benefit from any trades background (roofing, electrical, HVAC, general construction). Project Coordinator openings do expect relevant field experience — typically 2+ years in solar, roofing, electrical, or a related trade.

Where are the jobs located?

Most current openings are in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia — Canada's three largest residential solar markets — with a growing number in Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Saskatchewan. You'll tell us your province and postal code on the form and we'll only send you role briefs that match a reasonable commute or an employer with province-wide crews.

What certifications will I need?

For installers: Working at Heights (Ontario) or the provincial equivalent, WHMIS, and often a Class G / Class 5 driver's licence. For coordinators: no mandatory certification, though PMP, Red Seal, or a construction management background helps. Employers typically pay for or reimburse any certification required specifically for their site — the role brief will make that explicit.

How is my data handled?
